CDL Proxy Testing and ELDT Theory Event

 

The Kansas Department of Revenue is conducting CDL Proxy Testing and ELDT Theory Event for prospective CDL drivers. The event is hosted by USD 306 SouthEast of Saline. 

Registrants will receive CDL written test to obtain a CLP (Commercial Learners Permit)

Prospective Kansas school bus driver will be able to take the written test for all or any of the following:

  • General knowledge test for a Class A CDL (50 questions)
  • General knowledge test for a Class B CDL (50 questions)
  • Written test for P Endorsement (20 questions)
  • Written test for S Endorsement (20 questions)
  • Air Brake test (25 questions)
  • Must score 80% on each test taken to pass

Note: Theory completion will be entered into the TPR (Training Provider Registry) by KDOR

Cost: 
NO Charge to attend this event.
Upon passing the written test on July 28th, candidates will obtain their Commercial Learners Permit at a CDL licensing station. The standard CDL fee of $13 for the Commercial Learners Permit will be collected at that time.

Digital Copy Kansas Commercial Driver's License Manual (ksrevenue.gov)
