The KSDE School Transportation Safety Unit is offering a five-hour informational workshop for any mechanic performing the Part I Mechanical School/Activity Bus Safety Inspection. This workshop is designed to provide information to assist ANY mechanic who performs this inspection, which is required by Kansas State Department of Education School Transportation Regulations. District Mechanics, Contractor Mechanics and local independent Community Mechanics are all welcome to attend. Class instructors will be Kansas Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Inspector Tyson Oxford and the KSDE School Transportation Safety Unit.
