AAA Driver Improvement Program New Instructor Course (Four days)

August 3rd-6th 
8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Lunch on your own)
You must attend all 4 Days!

Instructor candidate must have the following to attend class. NO exceptions:

  1. Candidate has a laptop with minimum 10 gig free space on hard drive - NO Tablets - NO Chromebooks
  2. Laptop has PowerPoint Software Installed - NOT Keynote, NOT Google Slides
  3. Laptop must have at least the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed.
  4. The laptop must be capable of downloading software through an internet connection.
  5. Candidate will bring this laptop with Microsoft Power Point and Adobe software to class. 
  6. Candidate must have basic working knowlegde of Power Point and Adobe software.
  7. Must have an external mouse.

The purchase of the program will take place during class. Instructor candidates will need to bring a method to pay for the program at AAA.BIZ online, such as a District credit card. Any questions please contact us as soon as possible.   Each instructor must have their own purchased copy of the curriculum, sharing among instructors with the same employer is prohibited.


AAA requires Driver Improvement Program Instructors to be at least 21 years of age and to have a good driving record for the past three years. A copy of your current Driver’s License Record is required. Please submit a copy to the KSDE School Transportation Safety Unit, prior to the class, email to Sarah.Harter@ksde.gov or fax to 785-296-6659.


A copy of your Driving Record may be obtained from the Kansas Department of Revenue at the following web address.

You will need to complete and pay for an official copy of your driving record. The free status check does not meet AAA requirements.
